I have done the requested changes already. I think the easiest way is that I create a new merge request because I think I will not be able to modify your branch.

I am not sure what changes were requested. Who requested what?

I changed the setttings in my cbmroot fork, everyone with access should have sufficient permissions to push, squash etc...

This MR is superseded by !2147 (merged) which implements the requested ordering and squashing of commits.

I don't understand why an identical MR was made? Was there something extra that was done in this new MR, other than the squashing into two commits?

thanks a lot. Could you please rearrange and squash the commits such that in the end there are only two commits, one which implements the changes (removing the namespace) and a second one which does the formatting.

I can rearrange the commits if you like, but why do you want two commits?

Can't we just merge the clang-format and the change together? Why not squash into one at the time of merging?
